Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Make a real impact in the lives of students by providing speech and language services to K-12 learners in a vibrant school community. This contract-to-hire opportunity invites both full-time and part-time specialists to work alongside a supportive educational team, using your experience and expertise to foster communication skills in students of all ages.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working with K-12 school-aged children is highly valued Ability to collaborate with educators and families Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours
Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services one-on-one and in small groups Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary team members to support learning goals Maintain accurate, timely documentation Engage in parent and staff consultations to encourage carryover of skills What makes this opportunity stand out?
