Part-time to Full-time (.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE), Day Shift Position, Travel will be required in this position.

Role Responsibilities:

Design, organize and conduct remediation of medically prescribed speech therapy services. Evaluates, records and reports patient problems and progress for effective communication with other members of the rehabilitation team. Plan, direct and supervise speech therapy programs for patients as needed. Develop new services/programs as needed and assess the need for such. Clinical work areas will include hospital, Skilled Nursing Facilities, home health, and contracted facilities. Will work with pediatric to geriatric patients. May work in surrounding counties in this position.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an MA/MS accredited curriculum. Valid Wisconsin State License to practice Speech/Language Pathology. Current ASHA certification of clinical competency in Speech/Language Pathology. Interest in professional growth as demonstrated by attendance at continuing education programs and participation in professional organizations. Ability to plan, direct, implement and evaluate SLP treatments. Three to five years' experience as a Speech Therapist is preferred. Prior experiences and certification with LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) Loud Program for Parkinson's Disease would be very beneficial. Prior experience with Pediatric feeding (dysphagia and picky eaters) Experience with patients with voice problems such as vocal nodules and vocal cord dysfunctions Experiences with swallowing dysfunction- treatment and diagnostics for all ages, bedside swallows, Video fluoroscopic swallow evaluation Prior experience with the following therapies: Aphasia, Expressive language, Receptive language, Developmental language, Speech (sound production), Developmental articulation, Dysarthria (neurologically based), Apraxia (neurologically based), Fluency (stuttering) and Voice therapy. Experience with Development of Sensory Integration Skills & Velopharyngeal insufficiency/hyper nasality and cleft lip/palate treatment and feeding
