Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming academic year. This full-time role offers the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and families, supporting communication development across a dynamic caseload. Whether you're interested in early intervention or K-12 settings, you'll find meaningful opportunities and professional growth. Openings are available in both an Early Intervention 11-month assignment and a K-12 setting, beginning August 10, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027. The position is located in a welcoming school community, renowned for its commitment to student support and staff collaboration.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Maryland SLP License Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
What You'll Be Doing:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students on your caseload Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and inclusion Provide direct and consultative services, adapted instruction, and regular progress monitoring Document assessment results, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with district policies and applicable regulations
