Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an enriching contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology support in an engaging middle school setting. This position begins in August 2026 and continues through May 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The ideal environment for those who thrive in educational settings, you'll serve students dedicated to their academic and personal growth. Candidates who are bilingual are highly valued, though bilingualism is not a requirement for consideration.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP licensure in the state of Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings Bilingual proficiency highly desirable but not mandatory
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to a varied caseload within a supportive middle school Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse communication needs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure each student's success Maintain meticulous records and provide thorough documentation per district guidelines Assist in IEP development and attend meetings as necessary for student support Engage with school staff and participate in ongoing professional development This role is a chance to build meaningful relationships, expand your professional network, and make an immediate impact on student success in a collaborative environment.
