Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a collaborative educational environment near Reading, PA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting, make a lasting difference by empowering learners to reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong knowledge of IEP processes, speech and language assessments, and individualized therapy plans Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, staff, and families Organizational abilities to maintain thorough documentation and manage caseloads efficiently Dedication to fostering inclusive, positive learning experiences for diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred for services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communicative disorders Provide direct therapy, both individual and group, in accordance with students' IEPs Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborate with educators, and contribute insights to multidisciplinary teams Foster a welcoming atmosphere that supports students' confidence and social development Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates to families and colleagues Offer guidance and education for teachers and parents to promote carryover of goals This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and supportive educational teams.
