Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an educational setting near York, PA. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license (or eligibility) as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) acceptance Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred Exceptional communication, time management, and interpersonal skills Ability to design and implement therapy sessions tailored to individual student needsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for a diverse student population Develop and deliver individualized education program (IEP) goals using evidence-based therapy practices Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support personnel to integrate therapy into classroom activities Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions for student support Provide direct and indirect therapy to help students achieve their educational goals As a valued contract SLP, you'll benefit from a supportive environment that champions professional growth while allowing flexibility to balance work and life commitments.
