Riverbank Post Acute is a 99-bed Medicare and Medi-Cal certified skilled nursing facility and is one of the newest additions to the American Specialty Management group based in Modesto, California.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO
The Speech Pathologist will regularly evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech or language disorders, formulate individualized treatment programs, keep appropriate records, and inform faculty and parents about students' progress on a regular basis. Assesses the needs of pupils and matches them with programs available through the educational system. Discusses with faculty members their evaluations of students' skills as demonstrated in class performance and social interaction with other students. Suggests activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's speech therapy program. Attempts to add to their understanding of the program and answers questions and addresses concerns they may have about it. Talks with students to determine their feelings about the program or any frustrations they may feel about the therapy. Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills.
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Master's degree in speech pathology is
REQUIRED
Passing the Praxis exam, and completing your clinical fellowship, you'll apply for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of two years of experience working in the speech pathology field is
PREFERRED.
With Skilled Nursing Experience is
PREFERRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
California license to practice Speech Pathologist is
