  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sporting Clay Trapper to join our outdoor shooting sports team.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating clay target launching systems to ensure a safe, engaging, and challenging experience for participants. Your enthusiasm and attention to safety will help create an enjoyable environment where shooters can hone their skills and enjoy the sport. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop technical skills, and contribute to a vibrant sporting community. Responsibilities Set up and operate clay target launching machines with precision and safety in mind Monitor shooting stations to ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols Adjust target trajectories, angles, and speeds to provide varied shooting experiences Maintain all equipment, including cleaning, troubleshooting, and performing routine inspections Assist participants with safety instructions, equipment handling, and shooting techniques Ensure the shooting range is clean, organized, and ready for daily use Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during operations Skills Experience with handling hand tools, power tools, or farm machinery is highly desirable Knowledge of land management practices such as lawn care, landscaping, or agriculture enhances your suitability Ability to operate vehicles such as golf carts or utility trucks safely on outdoor grounds Strong understanding of safety protocols related to firearms and outdoor sports environments Excellent communication skills for instructing participants and coordinating with team members Basic mechanical skills for maintaining and troubleshooting clay target launchers A proactive attitude towards safety, teamwork, and providing excellent customer experiences Join us as a Sporting Clay Trapper and be part of a lively outdoor adventure that combines skill, safety, and fun!
