The Spotting Service Manager will provide oversight and support by managing the resources [staff, assets, contract laborers] assigned to their charge. This shall include monitoring team performance, promoting safety awareness while assuring quality service and attaining operational goals by exceeding KPI's. The manager shall facilitate effective communications with their teams, operations and our customers' shipping department. Driver retention is crucial to the success of our business. As a Spotting Service Manager you must consistently ensure a high level of safety awareness & compliance while delivering exceptional results for loading services. You will strive to improve performance of your team while providing them with effective training, coaching and corrective action as required. Work schedules and duties may vary based on customer requirements, seasonality and the needs of the business. The Spotting Service Manager will provide direct support to third-party carriers who contract loading services at our customer's facility. Services may include drop/hook and relocation of carriers' trailers as well as tarping their loads. The manager partners with our customer's facility manager to ensure adequate resources are available to complete the work load & meet deadlines for each shift. The manager will endeavor to resolve conflicts & issues that occur between their team & our customer's staff.
