In this vital role, you will be responsible for applying plant health treatments, pest control solutions, and pesticide products to enhance the health and beauty of our landscapes. Your expertise will ensure safe, effective, and environmentally responsible application practices that meet industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and machinery, and contribute directly to the health of plants and the aesthetics of landscapes. Responsibilities Prepare and calibrate spray equipment, including hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and specialized spraying devices to ensure precise application. Apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other plant health products according to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions. Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate treatment methods based on plant health conditions and pest presence. Maintain accurate records of treatments applied, including product types, quantities, locations, and dates for compliance and reporting purposes. Operate vehicles such as trucks or trailers to transport equipment and materials safely around job sites. Follow all safety guidelines related to chemical handling, storage, disposal, and personal protective equipment usage. Assist with general landscaping tasks as needed to support overall plant health initiatives. Requirements Prior experience; 2 year minimum Familiarity with pest control techniques and pesticide application procedures. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and land management equipment safely and effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driving large vehicles and equipment Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy equipment or supplies, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients when necessary.
