Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a manufacturing organization in Bristol, Pennsylvania for a Contract assignment expected to last 4-8 months. This onsite role will focus on strengthening core accounting operations, with particular attention to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory-related activities. The person in this position will work closely with internal accounting and inventory team members to improve accuracy, support month-end work, and help create more efficient financial processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Review current payable and receivable procedures and refine workflows within the Epicor environment to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with accounting and inventory personnel to maintain reliable data movement between processes and resolve operational issues affecting financial records.
  • Support month-end close activities by reconciling general ledger accounts and assisting with the preparation of financial reporting materials.
  • Contribute to inventory-related accounting tasks, including analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting with reconciliation efforts as needed.
  • Identify breakdowns or inefficiencies in day-to-day accounting operations and recommend practical improvements to strengthen controls and workflow performance.
  • Use Excel to manage data imports and exports, organize reporting files, and investigate system-related discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with a Staff Accountant and Inventory Clerk to ensure accounting activities are aligned across functional areas.
  • Assist with work tied to the transition of accounting responsibilities between company locations as needed during the contract period.
