Job Objective:

We are looking for a qualified accountant to assist in the General Ledger month-end close process and the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheets and income statements in compliance with GAAP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a thorough understanding of accounting principles, are essential for success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare the monthly GAAP journal entries for multiple companies to ensure that the financial reporting is accurate and timely.
• Own the month-end close processes for assigned areas and adhere to deadlines.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for multiple companies.
• Assist with payroll related journal entries.
• Assist with the finance integration of acquired entities.
• Own and prepare the entire lease process in accordance with ASC 842.
• Coordinate support and respond to external auditors for Interim and Year-End Audit.
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports for all entities including consolidated balance sheets and income statements.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by analyzing account information.
• Ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; MS or active CPA is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial data analysis and/or auditing.
• Knowledge of accounting & corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Tech-savvy and excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• NetSuite experience a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $85,000-$95,00 (based on experience)
