Position Overview Worldpac is building a pre-eminent Procurement organization—one that runs day-to-day operations flawlessly and modernizes how we buy, pay, and manage suppliers end-to-end This role has two main focus areas within Procurement:
1) rollout and adoption of Synertrade software platform as Worldpac's Source-to-Pay strategy across our current technology stack ( Oracle + IBM AS/400 environment ), including process design, controls, data discipline, and change management and 2) leading accountability for daily execution (buyers/schedulers, service, inventory flow, supplier performance). This position is a key leader who must bring a combination of strong technical/ systems expertise as well as procurement operational experience and leadership. What Success Looks Like (12-18 Months) Implement Synertrade software platform to transform the Source-to-Pay operating model : Synertrade implemented to refresh, clarify and automate process ownership, SOPs, training, compliance mechanisms, and KPI cadence Procurement runs "quiet" operationally : fewer expedites, fewer stock-outs driven by purchasing execution, improved on-time supplier delivery and fill rate. Faster, cleaner transactions : reduced cycle times (PR-to-PO, PO-to-receipt, invoice-to-pay), fewer invoice exceptions, cleaner master data Measurable value creation : productivity gains, working-capital improvement, lower purchase price variance, reduced obsolescence, stronger supplier performance Sustained adoption : tools and processes used correctly (not "optional"), with auditing and continuous improvement embedded Key Responsibilities Implement Synertrade / Own the Source-to-Pay Strategy and Rollout Define and execute the S2P roadmap using our existing stack (Oracle + AS/400 ecosystem) — pragmatic upgrades, not "boil-the-ocean" Lead implementations/enhancements including implementing Synertrade platform from scratch: requirements, testing, cutover planning, training, hypercare, and benefits tracking Standardize global/enterprise procurement policies and controls: requisitioning & approval workflows purchasing channels (catalogs, contracts, spot buys) receiving & 3-way match discipline supplier onboarding, compliance, and master data governance Drive automation and digitization where it improves throughput and compliance (templates, guided buying, workflows, exception management) Performance Management and Value Realization Build the KPI framework and operating cadence (daily/weekly/monthly) for: OTIF / fill-rate drivers PO cycle time and backlog invoice exception rate / match rate price variance & recovery inventory health impacts (excess/obsolete prevention, lead-time adherence) compliance (PO usage, approvals, contracts) Create a visible benefits tracker tied to EBITDA and working capital Use analytics to identify root causes and drive corrective actions—not just report outs Influencing and leading Day-to-Day Procurement Operations (Run the Business) Leverage system/ technology changes to drive execution across the operational procurement organization (buyers, schedulers/planners as applicable), setting daily/weekly operating rhythms Ensure purchasing execution meets service, cost, and quality targets (availability, fill rate drivers, supplier OTIF, expedite control) Own operational issue resolution: shortages, supplier constraints, quality holds, pricing discrepancies, and escalations Establish standard work, role clarity, capacity management, and coaching/development for frontline teams Own the department budget (where applicable) and productivity plans Supplier Performance, Programs, and Governance Build the supplier performance management system: scorecards, QBRs, escalation paths, corrective actions Partner with category leaders to connect sourcing strategy to operational outcomes and ensure transparency and accuracy of critical procurement performance information (lead times, minimum order quantity, order frequency, availability, etc.) Create supplier programs that matter for Worldpac (service/availability, cost performance, responsiveness, data quality) Implement supplier recognition and accountability mechanisms to shift performance sustainably Cross-Functional Leadership and Change Management Act as the integrator across Procurement, Supply Chain, DC Operations, Finance/AP, IT, and Product Management. The implementation of the S2P technology platform will be a nearly singular focus for this role for the first 6-12 months. Lead change management:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology or related field (advanced degree a plus) Demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of a Source-to-Pay (S2P) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) technology implementation—spanning business requirements, system configuration, testing, go-live, hypercare, user adoption measurement, and quantified benefits realization—delivered on time and within budget; Synertrade platform experience strongly preferred 10+ years in procurement/supply chain operations with increasing leadership scope Strong program management discipline: timelines, resourcing, governance, risk management, and benefits tracking Proven track record leading a high-volume operational procurement function (buyers, schedulers/planners) with direct accountability for purchasing execution, fill-rate and OTIF performance, and expedite management—not just strategic sourcing; includes demonstrated experience owning KPI dashboards, establishing daily/weekly operating cadences, and communicating procurement performance clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders Strong financial acumen: understands impacts on EBITDA, working capital, and inventory health Executive-level communication: can drive alignment and closure across functions Preferred:
Direct, hands-on experience implementing Synertrade as the S2P platform of record, including module configuration, supplier enablement, approval workflow design, and end-user training; experience with comparable platforms (Jaggaer, Coupa, Ivalua) considered but Synertrade experience is a strong differentiator for this role Hands-on experience with Oracle procurement / P2P environments; comfort operating in mixed ERP landscapes (Oracle + AS/400-type ecosystems) Experience in distribution, aftermarket, or high-SKU complexity environments Experience improving A/P match rates, invoice exception handling, and purchasing compliance at scale Familiarity with automation/analytics tools and pragmatic AI use cases in procurement (exception triage, supplier risk signals, spend/process mining) Key Competencies Builder:
