Job Description

Section 1: Position Summary This position will be responsible for financial analysis including recurring monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as annual budget compilation. A strong background in accounting is preferred to ensure effective compliance with required reporting protocols. Additionally, provide administrative support of the FP&A planning and reporting system. Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients. Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting for senior leadership. Prepare FP&A required quarterly compliance reporting. Prepare consolidated financial reporting used for quarterly board package reports and for the annual Operating Budget. Support the administration of the FP&A reporting and planning system. Ad hoc analysis as requested by senior finance leadership. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned. Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements Strong PC skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access. Cognos TM1 reporting experience a plus. Experience with forecasting, budgeting and analysis. Meet deadlines as set by management. Able to successfully balance multiple projects and priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external clients including senior management. Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required, Masters and/or CPA preferred. 5+ years of accounting and finance work experience We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer Be aware of employment fraud.
