Position Summary Lead the SAP Retail Systems application development team responsible for Accounts Payable, Inventory Accounting, and Physical Inventory Reconciliation (PIR). Drive the transformation from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with Retail Finance business needs. Manage a blended team of FTEs and consultants (onshore/offshore), deliver innovative solutions, and explore emerging technologies like AI to optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute the roadmap for SAP Retail systems, including ECC S/4 migration.
Team Management:
Hire, coach, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and consultants across geographies.
Solution Delivery:
Translate Retail Finance requirements into SAP functional and technical designs for Finance, AP, Inventory Accounting, and PIR.
Innovation:
Identify and implement AI/automation opportunities to improve reconciliation and controls.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner closely with Retail Finance business and cross-functional teams to ensure business alignment.
Governance:
Maintain compliance, documentation, and audit readiness throughout transformation. Required Qualifications 10+ years in SAP Retail with strong functional and technical expertise in ECC or S/4HANA 5+ years managing teams and vendor partners. Proven experience leading strategic projects and transformations. Strong knowledge of
SAP:
FICO, AP, Inventory Accounting, and PIR processes. Good understanding of dev tools like
ABAP, FIORI & BTP
Have experience working with systems that process high volume of data. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Master data and Central Finance integrations. Familiarity with Reporting tools like BOBJ, BW, SAC.. Core Competencies Customer Focus Strategic Thinking Communication Talent Development Execution Excellence Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
