Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Trade Compliance to join our team - 100% Remote . We invite you to discover your place in our world. This individual will help drive Trade Compliance efforts at Serco, a $2B company supporting a wide array of cutting-edge projects for clients throughout the U.S. Government and Canada. While you will support Serco's civilian services business, the vast majority of your efforts will relate to Serco's daily operations in support of U.S. defense customers. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance In this role you will: + Act as an Empowered Official, demonstrating both a high level of expertise with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and practical business judgment to solve problems in a compliant and efficient manner. + Draft, submit and manage technical assistance agreements, ITAR classifications, commodity jurisdiction requests and determinations, advisory opinions, registration renewal, voluntary disclosures, as well as licenses for both temporary and permanent export of ITAR-controlled material. + Review export and import licenses and permits obtained from the Departments of State and Commerce and translate provisos and guidance into actionable next steps for the business. + Respond to requests for advice on release of export-controlled information (and information that may be export-controlled). + Maintain an organized library of current TAAs and licenses. + Provide guidance on proper handling of international purchase orders and hardware shipment. + Review requests for foreign visits and international travel requests against regulations and company procedures. + Ensure that internal clients receive timely responses to requests for advice, as well as clear execution guidance on their required compliance tasks. + Provide analytical support for development and continuous improvement of the company's trade compliance program, including policies and procedures. + Brief the company's Board of Directors as needed on Export-related matters. + Conduct assigned compliance tasks, data calls, reporting requirements, record keeping and file management, working groups, continuous improve
