We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing comprehensive product designs to meet our customer requirements and company goals. This role will have a significant impact on our product development process and will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our final products. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement mechanical designs for various products, using 3D modeling software and other design tools. 2. Prepare detailed blueprints of designs for production and manufacturing. 3. Conduct comprehensive product testing to ensure designs meet all functional and performance specifications. 4. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible for production. 5. Use of SolidWorks 6. Design and optimize machine components and systems, ensuring they meet all safety and operational requirements. 7. Stay abreast of current industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and manufacturing. 8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to understand customer needs and translate them into effective product designs. 9. Conduct failure analysis and redesign as necessary, using CNC machines and other tools. 10. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on product development. 3. Proficient in SolidWorks and other design tools
  • must have.
4. Extensive experience with machine design and mechanical design. 5. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and CNC machinery. 6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 7. Strong communication and team collaboration skills. 8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 9. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. 10. Proactive and innovative approach to product design and development.
