This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented quality professional with strong inspection, measurement, and process improvement experience within a manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$53,000-$99,000
Position Summary:
The Senior Quality Technician will be responsible for inspecting, testing, measuring, and evaluating raw materials, machinedponents, and finished products to ensurepliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. This role will support the Quality Department through dimensional studies, gauge and fixture analysis, documentation management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment including: CMM Vision systems Opticalparators Calipers Micrometers Height gauges Thread and ring gauges Complete and maintain First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation Conduct Process Capability Studies (CPK) Perform Gauge R&R studies for new gauges and inspection methods Support engineering teams with qualification, validation, and PPAP activities Analyze blues, specifications, and technical documents to determine inspection requirements Disposition non-conforming materials utilizing quality procedures and manufacturing processes Develop and update quality procedures and visual work instructions Maintainanized electronic and hard-copy quality documentation Inspect materials and finished products forpliance to specifications Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred or equivalentbination of education and experience 3-5 years of related quality experience in a manufacturing environment Experience using CMMs, vision systems,parators, and hand inspection tools Working knowledge of SPC and control charts Experience performing PPAPs and quality validation activities Ability to read and interpret blues and technical drawings Basic understanding of GD&T preferred Stronganizational, problem-solving, andmunication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Pay Details:
