• As a part of our Advanced Technology and Prototyping team within the Air and Space Force Solutions Business Area, you ll join a diverse group of driven professionals who research and design edge capabilities that address some of the hardest problems within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).

• Job Responsibilities
• + Work as part of a software development team to design and implement rapid prototypes for a broad range of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), sensor exploitation, tracking, and Command and Control (C2) challenges + Support customer demonstrations, integration events, and field experiments + Lead tasking of yourself and other developers including decomposing high-level tasks into smaller more manageable issues/tasks + Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, readily adapt to change, and respond to quick turn-around requests + Support customer meetings, demonstrations, or other externally facing activities \#ASFS •Required Education, Experience, & Skills•+ Bachelor s Degree in an engineering or science field with 4 years of relevant professional experience OR an advanced degree in a related field with 2 years of experience + Capable of leading a small team of software and test engineers including managing tasks and schedule + Understanding multiple system interactions and the ability to investigate and diagnose issues across multiple applications + Experienced developer with strong coding, debugging, design and problem-solving skills + Proficient in programming languages, e.

g. Java, C , Rust + Experience using collaborative source code management (Git, Subversion), Agile Development, and DevSecOps + Experience with Windows and Linux Development Environments

• Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
• + Active Secret Clearance, able to get TS/SCI Clearance + Familiarity in one or more of the following areas: + Cloud native technologies, e.

g. Docker, Kubernetes, Harbor, Helm + Real-time or time critical processing pipelines + UI/UX design and development including GIS + Data analysis and performance evaluation + Space, air, and/or ground systems + Modeling & simulation (M&S) + Command and control (C2) + Tracking and estimation methodologies + Mission planning

Full-Time Salary Range:

$97008 - $164914 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
