- Test will an integral member in the Affera Software Team, working on cutting-edge technology in the electrophysiology field.

About the Affera Mapping and Ablation System The Affera Mapping and Ablation System is an innovative medical technology designed to treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The system involves advanced mapping techniques to create detailed images of the heart's electrical activity, helping physicians identify abnormal areas causing arrhythmias. Once identified, the Affera Ablation System delivers targeted energy to disrupt these abnormal signals, restoring normal heart rhythm. Primary Responsibilities Perform workflow analysis, document testresultsand recommend quality improvements Work with engineers to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models. Define, plan, organize and coordinate V&V activities with teams across multiple sites inaccordanceFDA and other regulatory requirements. Manage and develop software test talent within the organization and work with a cross-functional team to fostersynergyin day-to-dayoperation. Lead in forecasting, effort estimation, resource & test planning, training, execution, and release activities. Aptitude for continuous improvement,identifyandimplementindustry standard software test technology, methods, and tools. Well versed in different test development methodologies include Agile toenablesbreaking barriers across the organization. Oversee definition and implementation of different software testing techniques to increase test coverage. This position would require up to 25% travel. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree anda minimum of7years of relevant experiencewith 5+ years of managerial experience ORadvanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevantexperiencewith 5+ years of managerial experience Preferred Qualifications Expert knowledge of Medical Product verification, IEC-62304and FDA guidance in a technical discipline, preferably software related (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering) Thoroughunderstanding of creating test protocols for verifying software requirements. Strong understanding of good documentation practices, various off the shelf test management systems Ability to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs. Ability to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations. Ability to work with Systems, Mechanical,Electricaland Software engineers when discovering, documenting, and resolving integration issues. Experience using a tool or repository for managing test cases (Polarion, TFS, TestRail,JAMAetc). Experience debugging hardware with tools such as oscilloscope and function generators Experiencewritingtechnical reports Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
