A Day in the Life Day in the Life Tests the functionality and performance of medical device software systems and software applications. Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in medical device software systems and software applications. Develop automation scripts using tools such as Python and other scripting languages Support the development of System and Software Requirements Create test plans, test protocols, and test reports used for regulatory submissions. Execute test protocols for medical devices software systems Ensures medical device software systems and software applications meet technical and functional requirements. Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models. Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Conduct tool validation activities Manages completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others Additional duties as assigned Nice to Have Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries Experience with test case management software tools Experience with scripting software (Python or similar) Experience with requirements management tools (Polarion, DOORS, etc...) Required Knowledge and Experience:

Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years relevant experience. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. 00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
