Job Description:
Cape Fox subsidiary, Kwaan Tech, LLC, is seeking a highly organized and motivated SST ASF Rover to join our team in support of a federal government client. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsible for conducting roving patrols, responding to alarms, providing access control, and offering comprehensive operational and administrative support to maintain a secure environment on a 24/7/365 basis. This position is contingent upon the award. The pay for this non-exempt position base hourly rate range is $55-59 plus up to $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. The above rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid sick and vacation leave, and 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
Core Duties:
Conduct roving patrols of
COMPACFLT
SCIFs to deter unauthorized access, detect security breaches, and ensure compliance with security regulations Respond promptly to alarm activations, investigating the cause, and taking appropriate action to secure the area Provide access support, verifying personnel credentials, and escorting authorized individuals within restricted areas Conduct inspection readiness activities Conduct inspections of classified material storage facilities/SCIFs/containers to identify vulnerabilities and enforce compliance Provide classified material-related policy and management recommendations and reports Provide badge support, assisting personnel with the issuance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security access badges Perform wireless intrusion detection security sweeps Maintain and troubleshoot the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Provide support for Large Scale Exercises (LSE) planning, vetting, RSOI and execution, CODEL, and commander's conferences Assist with full-spectrum access control for COMPACFLT-managed SCIFs, including emergency evacuations, drills, and events Contribute to the Security, Education, Awareness, and Training (SETA) program
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Substantial specialized security experience demonstrating strong understanding of security principles and procedures Prior experience in security patrols, alarm response, or law enforcement highly desirable Knowledge of DoD security program laws, regulations, and directives Proficiency in operating communication systems, security monitoring equipment, and computer applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure Strong organizational and time management skills General knowledge of operational, procedural, and technical standards for interoperability with non-DoD Federal Government agencies Valid driver's license required Must have an active/adjudicated Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 Cape Fox Corporation, its subsidiaries, and affiliates provide equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibit employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, or sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
