The Staff Accountant performs a variety of accounting tasks to support the decision making responsibilities of the District. Principal areas of focus will include general leder maintenance, account reconcilliations and month-end close processes. Monthly financial performance analysis and ad hoc reporting would be necessary for this role.POSITION SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Minimum Education Degree in accounting or finance. Minimum Work Experience Two or more years of experience in accounting or finance. Required Licenses/Certifications None Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Critical thinking skills, analytical abilities, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program. Complies with all HIPAA standards. Prepares, posts and reconciles journal entry transactions to the general ledger. Prepares account reconciliations and analysis. Performs month-end and year-end dose processes, including financial analysis and preparing adjusting entries. Assists with evaluation of monthly financial performance. Assists with organization and review of the annual operating and capital budgets. Assists with various audits (i.e. annual financial, cost report.)
