Staff Accountant

Job Description Staff Accountant (Growth Opportunity )-Schaumburg area Staff Accountant opportunity close to woodfield mall. Great office, leadership team that are great mentors. What You'll Do Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting) Maintain and ensure accuracy of general ledger activity Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decisions Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Assist with inventory reconciliations and related analysis Partner with operations and product leaders to analyze trends and performance Support financial reporting and ad hoc projects as needed What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required) 1-3 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, audit, or FP&A Strong understanding of US GAAP fundamentals Advanced Excel skills (comfortable with analysis and large data sets) Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset CPA or CPA-track is a plus Nice to Have NetSuite experience Why This Role Stands Out Clear path for growth (proven internal promotion track) High visibility across finance and operations Exposure to acquisitions and a fast-scaling business Strong foundation role to build into Senior Accountant Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, 401k
