Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex CornerStone Professional Placement is working with a growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations across multiple entities. This role offers strong visibility to leadership and the opportunity to own key pieces of the accounting cycle in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, takes ownership of their work, and has experience in job cost accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting activities across several related entities
• Manage payables and receivables processes with accuracy and timeliness
• Track and maintain project/job-related costs
• Prepare and post journal entries, including prepaid expense allocations
• Reconcile accounts and maintain integrity of the general ledger
• Assist in closing processes and produce monthly financial reports
• Support funding requests tied to ongoing projects
• Partner closely with the Controller on reporting and process improvements

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity setting
• Proven experience with job costing (required)
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage 300 is a plus
• Comfortable working with Excel and general accounting systems
• Self-starter who can prioritize and execute without constant direction
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Industry experience in construction, development, or similar is a plus

$60,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)
