Staff Accountant with Security Clearance

Great Hill is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our federal client.

Basic Qualifications:

• Three (3)+ years of experience in accounting, with at least one (1) year in federal or DoW government accounting
• Experience performing account reconciliations across budgetary and proprietary accounts
• Experience preparing and processing journal entries in a federal financial accounting system
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal accounting standards
• Experience supporting financial statement preparation, including compilation of supporting documentation
• Experience gathering and packaging documentation for audit samples or data calls
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing

Desired Skills:

• Experience with GFEBS or other DoW enterprise financial systems
• Experience supporting PBC package preparation for external auditors
• Progress toward CPA, CDFM, or CGFM certification
• Experience with automated reconciliation tools or data analytics (e.

g., Google Colab, Apps Script) Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ. The projected compensation range for this position is below. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. The projected compensation range for this position is: $60,000 - $90,000
