Staff Assistant / House Manager

The Staff Assistant addresses the patron's needs, oversees assigned theatre operations, successfully leads team members to provide an excellent experience for our patrons, and administers all company policies and procedures.

Duties:

1. Assigns and monitors staff activities to ensure all positions are covered as needed. 2. Provides direction and leadership by example to assigned employees. 3. Provides management with feedback regarding employee work performance. 4. Assist with inventory, ordering, and stocking duties. 5. Conduct opening/closing duties, cash handling, and deposits. 6. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards and report or resolve any operational issues. 7. Assist patrons with questions or complaints. 8. Assist in employee training as directed. 9. Performs other related duties as required. Malco Theatres is a movie theatre chain that has remained family owned and operated for over one hundred years. It has been led by four generations. Malco has 33 theatre locations with over 345 screens in six states (including Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee). Malco also operates two bowling and family entertainment centers in southern Louisiana and a bowling family entertainment center in Oxford, MS, under the brand, Premier Lanes.
