Staff Development Coordinator

Choctaw Residential Center is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our Staff Development. The primary purpose of this job position is to conduct and coordinate the development and completion of employee training. To ensure that the facility is within the requirements of the state and federal regulations and the policies and goals of the facility. This individual needs to have a genuine interest in the geriatric population, be able to supervise and administer verbal and written orders. Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers and physicians. Must have an RN license in good standing with the MS Board of Nursing. Primary hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. At times the hours may vary with activity in the nursing home. You will be required to rotate call with other nurses. Experience as Staff Development Coordinator will be a plus.
