Staff Logistician Level IV Job Duties (Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position): Provide logistics management expertise and integrated product support guidance for acquisition programs. Ensure programs comply with logistics regulations and best practices throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Conduct logistics analyses to define product support requirements and assist Product Support Managers (PSMs). Develop and validate sustainment elements and provide logistics input to acquisition documents. Identify and report failures or delays in logistics deliverables. Lead and manage Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) tasks including developing risk mitigation plans, assessments, and monitoring effectiveness. Coordinate SCRM with stakeholders, oversee related efforts, and support program protection, anti-tamper, and obsolescence planning. Support internal SCRM-related meetings, including with TACOM, the CLO, and working groups. Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), functional milestone reviews, and design reviews. Provide input on policies, SOPs, and frameworks for supply chain security. Track action items, document reviews, and interface with oversight agencies to resolve logistics issues. Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications): Minimum 6 years of experience in lifecycle logistics planning and support, including familiarity with: Acquisition documentation DoDI 5000.02 Property accountability, PPBE, testing/evaluation, and operational readiness Minimum 3 years of experience with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), including: Supply chain threat assessment, mitigation planning, and process improvement Bachelor's degree required Secret clearance required Nice to
Have:
DAWIA Level Advanced Certification in Logistics or equivalent Experience with systems integration, reliability, and maintainability Experience supporting Air Force logistics or
JPEO-CBRND
