Applicants must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with others as a team, and be able to learn quickly. We are open Monday-Friday 9-6, and Saturdays 9-1. We are closed on Sunday and major holidays. The position is full or part time. Pay is competitive and based on experience. Pharmacists are an integral part of our team and must be able to perform the following duties

• Follows established policies and procedures
• Fill and verifies prescriptions while identifying and drug interactions
• Consults with medical professionals regarding prescription questions
• Counsels patients about medications
• Gives recommendations for over-the-counter medications and medical supplies
• Understands basic pharmacy software and is able to submit insurance claims, input new prescriptions and refills, correct technician errors
• Understands basic inventory of a retail pharmacy and can help maintain it
• Efficient and can complete duties in a timely manner
• Has professional and positive attitude.
• Is able to teach pharmacy technicians and other staff by providing direct and constant feedback to correct errors and ensure quality learning.
• Must have current Utah Pharmacist License, Controlled Substance license and CPR certification and be able to administer immunizations using proper technique
• Working knowledge of pharmacy and dispensing laws in the state of Utah.
