Valdez, AK (Assignment site in Cordova, AK)

Duration:

7 weeks starting June 1

Shift:

Days, Monday

• Friday Hours:

  8:30 AM
• 5:30 PM with a lunch break from 1:00 PM
• 2:00

PM Responsibilities:

Manage activities at the retail pharmacy window including dispensing medications and counseling patients Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory pharmacy standards Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient medication therapies Maintain accurate records and oversee inventory management

Qualifications & Experience:

Active Alaska pharmacy license required Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Minimum of two years' experience as a licensed pharmacist, preferably in retail or hospital pharmacy settings Strong communication and patient service skills necessary to work in a small community setting
