Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care during night shifts. This contract position offers a consistent schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, with hours from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, starting June 1 for a duration of 13+ weeks.
Location:
Lancaster, OH Schedule:
Thursday night to Wednesday night 8:00 PM - 7:30 AM 7 nights on, 7 nights off
Key Responsibilities:
Review, interpret, and accurately dispense medication orders and prescriptions Monitor patient medication therapy to ensure safety, efficacy, and age-appropriateness Maintain compliance with established pharmacy policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Provide comprehensive drug information to patients, families, and healthcare providers Support emergency drug therapy management and medication preparation during medical emergencies Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to optimize workflow and patient care
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy Valid Ohio pharmacy license in good standing Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patients
