Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A specialty pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team with a contract-to-hire opportunity in Collierville, TN. This role offers the chance to work in a low-volume, high-impact setting focused on complex conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders. Responsibilities:

Provide clinical pharmaceutical care, managing therapies like factor replacement, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions. Educate patients and caregivers on drug administration, side effects, adherence, and safe medication handling. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care. Assist with benefits navigation by working alongside reimbursement specialists to secure prior authorizations and identify financial assistance. Utilize software systems such as CareTend (training available).

Qualifications:

Licensed pharmacist in Tennessee (license required). Experience with CareTend software is a strong plus; training offered for the right candidate. Willingness to obtain additional state licenses is a benefit. Strong communication skills and clinical knowledge in specialty pharmacy practices.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position offers competitive pay in the $60-$63 range and an engaging environment centered on personalized patient care and professional growth.
