To Apply for this Job Click Here Staff Pharmacist Job Summary The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations. This role plays a critical part in promoting safe and effective medication use while delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and adherence Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and resolve prescription issues Ensure compliance with all state board of pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, and company policies Perform final verification of prescriptions and oversee pharmacy workflow and technician activities Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation within pharmacy systems Monitor inventory levels, manage controlled substances, and ensure proper storage of medications Identify and resolve potential medication errors or drug interactions Support immunization services and health screenings (as applicable) Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm), active license as a Florida State Pharmacist. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy setting Experience with medication therapy management (MTM) programs Familiarity with compounding processes 1459399_1779195864 To Apply for this Job Click Here
