Starter - Greystone Golf Course

Greystone Golf Course, located in White Hall, MD, is seeking a seasonal Golf Course Starter to promote all areas of golf at the facility, making every effort to ensure that individuals enjoy their golfing experience. Positions are part-time seasonal based on operation of Golf Course. Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Greet each guest and keep the 1st tee operating on time throughout the day Positions are seasonal based on operation of Golf Course. Essential Functions /

Responsibilities:

Inform players of golf course rules and/or special instructions for that day in accordance with established policies and procedures; remind players of rules if they appear to be in violation. Check all players for cash register receipts to ensure the appropriate fee has been paid prior to their teeing off. Record receipt number and cart numbers on the tee sheet. Alert the golfers to the Cart Path Policy (on path or scatter) Keep the Tee running "On Time" Assist players in any way that might be deemed helpful. Help keep the golf course attractive, neat and clean by monitoring waste disposal. Assist in conducting tournaments held at the golf course as needed. Assist all pro shop personnel throughout shift as instructed.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures preferred. Present a positive, professional image. Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
