Steel and Rebar Fabrication Estimator

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Rebar Fabrication Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating material, labor, and project costs related to rebar fabrication projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop precise fabrication estimates for rebar components. Utilize estimating software such as ASA and ECI E2 to prepare detailed cost proposals and bid packages. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to negotiate pricing and scope adjustments that align with project budgets and timelines. Prepare comprehensive cost analyses covering material quantities, labor, equipment, and transportation. Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, revisions, and contractual documents for future reference. Support project management teams by providing cost-saving insights and recommendations to ensure profitability.

Qualifications:

Experience in rebar fabrication estimating or related construction estimating required. Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications. Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. Extensive knowledge of construction processes related to steel fabrication and rebar installation. Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting estimates clearly. Familiarity with cost control practices, pricing strategies, and contract management within the construction industry.
