Job Summary Reporting to the Lead Assembler, the Assembler I is responsible for assembling and installing components on cold-formed steel framing structures. This role requires precision, teamwork, and mechanical aptitude to ensure high-quality production in accordance with specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble and fit prefabricated parts to form structures based on technical drawings. Install fasteners, connectors, and other components to ensure structural integrity. Operate and work with a variety of hand and power tools. Follow work orders, production schedules, and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, ear protection) at all times on the plant floor. Assist in troubleshooting assembly issues and making minor adjustments when needed. Skills and Qualifications Experience using hand tools and power tools (drilling, fastening, measuring). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (2D preferred). Previous experience in mechanical assembly, sub-assemblies, or sheet metal assembly is a plus. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy. Exposure to manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety procedures is preferred. Willingness to learn new tasks, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment. Physically fit, energetic, and able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Experience 1 year of assembly experience preferred, but not required—training is available for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn
