$1,320 Weekly (Local) | $1,524 Weekly (Traveler) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Production Coordinator for a contract-to-permanent opportunity in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will oversee sterile processing workflows, ensure proper decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments, and support compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, leadership ability, and knowledge of sterile processing operations. Responsibilities Coordinate daily sterile processing department workflows and production activities Ensure proper decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and trays Monitor instrument turnaround times and prioritize urgent surgical requests Maintain compliance with infection control, sterilization, and regulatory standards Inspect surgical instruments and equipment for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly Support inventory management and instrument tracking processes Collaborate with surgical services and clinical teams to ensure timely instrument availability Maintain accurate documentation and sterilization records Assist with training and supporting sterile processing staff as needed Promote a safe and efficient work environment while adhering to departmental policies and procedures Requirements High School Diploma or GED required CRCST or CSPDT certification required Current American Heart Association BLS certification required Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare or sterile processing-related experience required Strong understanding of sterile processing workflows, infection prevention, and instrument handling Ability to work independently in a fast-paced overnight environment Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC:
