Sterile Processing Technician

Duties Properly sterilize dental instruments and equipment using approved methods, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. Maintain accurate inventory management of sterilization supplies and dental instruments to prevent shortages and facilitate smooth clinic operations. Follow strict aseptic techniques during instrument processing to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety. Assist in organizing and tray set up of sterilized instruments for easy retrieval during procedures. Monitor sterilization equipment for proper functioning, report malfunctions promptly, and perform routine maintenance as needed. Support the clinical team by preparing sterile supplies for various pediatric dental procedures. Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, inventory levels, and compliance documentation.
