Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Sterilization Technician to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within our pediatric dental practice. No experience needed; training provided. This vital role involves managing sterilization processes, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting the clinical team in delivering exceptional care to our young patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sterile processing procedures along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This paid position is great for recent high school graduates and offers an opportunity to contribute to a compassionate healthcare environment focused on children's oral health. Duties Properly sterilize dental instruments and equipment using approved methods, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. Maintain accurate inventory management of sterilization supplies and dental instruments to prevent shortages and facilitate smooth clinic operations. Follow strict aseptic techniques during instrument processing to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety. Assist in organizing and tray set up of sterilized instruments for easy retrieval during procedures. Monitor sterilization equipment for proper functioning, report malfunctions promptly, and perform routine maintenance as needed. Support the clinical team by preparing sterile supplies for various pediatric dental procedures. Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, inventory levels, and compliance documentation. Qualifications No experience required (training provided) Reliable and consistent work ethic. Willingness to learn and grow in the dental field. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow precise protocols consistently. Effective communication skills for collaborating with dental team members and maintaining accurate documentation.
