Stick Welder / MIG Welder Trainee Express Employment is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Stick Welder for a full-time opportunity with a growing manufacturing client. This is a great opportunity for someone with 7018 stick welding experience who is interested in expanding their skills — the company is willing to train the right candidate on MIG welding.

Location River Rouge, MI Pay:

$18-19/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday:

6:00 AM•6:00

PM Friday:

6:00 AM•5:00

PM Saturday:

6:00 AM•12:00 PM Responsibilities Perform stick welding using 7018 low hydrogen rod Assist with fabrication and production welding tasks Read and follow basic weld specifications and instructions Maintain clean and safe work areas Support production deadlines while maintaining quality standards Learn MIG welding processes through hands-on training Qualifications Experience stick welding with 7018 rod required Basic fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to work long shifts in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to learn MIG welding and additional shop skills Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely by submitting your resume or contact Recruiter Katie directly:
