Primary Responsibilities

• Identifying, controlling, segregating and maintaining all stock to serviceable or unserviceable category.
• The preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subjected to deterioration and shelf life specifications.
• Controlling Inventory.
• Ensuring Shelf Life items are identified at incoming inspection.
• Distribution of parts to the departments.
• Ensuring all items are inspected before acceptance into the inventory.
• Bar-coding inventory.
• Accomplishing Supplier Corrective Action Reports when nonconformance is identified.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to facilitate process flow improvements
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
• A minimum education requirement of High School Diploma or GED is required
• Must have attention to detail
• Must have the ability to handle the necessary functions entailed in the position's responsibilities including using tools, equipment, sitting and standing for extended periods of time
• Perform work in a safe manner and completes all required safety trainings
• Must have the ability to work overtime including Saturday's as necessary
• Able to lift heavy items (50lbs.)
• Able to stand for long hours
• Wear all required PPE Preferred Skills
• Ability to work independently and work in a team environment
• Possess analytical and communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
