Position Summary:

The stockroom attendant plays a critical role in maintaining lean material flow throughout the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned Work with Production Control/Planner & Cell Leaders to maintain work throughout the plant by filling and delivering Work Orders (WO) to cells. Perform all necessary activities/transactions relative to raw material replacement parts, remakes, and returned materials. Complete receiving tasks to include the following: Transact all RMA's and deliver to Quality Manager. Transact/Receive all raw materials, expense items, MRO supplies, subcontracted parts to include verification of paperwork. Generate labels as required. Deliver materials to appropriate stocking locations and/or workstations. Collect additional paperwork for partner products to include work orders, sales orders, etc. to provide a quick turnaround to shipping. Maintain VMI materials for all Consigned material vendors, make transactions as required, and report counts on items as needed. Provide additional support as needed to include assisting with cycle counts, kitting materials, transacting & disposing of E&O materials, etc. Maintain finished goods inventory counts.

Qualifications:

High School education or GED equivalent 1-3 years related experience preferred Intermediate computer skills Prior experience with Oracle or similar ERP program desired Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to use a hand calculator Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in order to meet strict customer deadlines Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and all written work procedures, guidelines.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to use a calculator and perform basic mathematical calculations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
