Job Description

Indiana Tube Corporation (ITC) is a manufacturer of low carbon mechanical grade welded steel tubing used for diverse industries worldwide. ITC products are used in a variety of fluid & gas carrying applications for Automotive, Large Truck, Heavy Equipment, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Heating & Air, and Refrigeration. Additionally, ITC manufactures non-fluid carrying tube for applications such as heating elements, welding rods, tubular handles, seating components, sun visor rods, and filtration products. ITC Manufactures a wide range of tube diameter and wall thickness in both Standard and Metric sizes. ITC has an opening in our Purchasing Department for a Stockroom Clerk. This position is non-exempt, full time with no relocation. Position Summary The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, receiving and stocking materials, issuing inventory, and supporting daily stockroom operations to ensure efficient production and maintenance support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock based on established minimum and safety stock levels. Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming inventory shipments. Issue inventory transactions within the computer system accurately and timely. Coordinate shipments and tracking of repairable items. Enter and kit maintenance work orders. Perform cycle counts and inventory audits as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom area. Maintain documentation and records in compliance with ISO and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned by the MRO Buyer or Purchasing Manager. Organizational Relationships Accountable to the Purchasing Manager for all assigned responsibilities and activities. Works closely with the MRO Buyer, supervisors, and other departments as needed.
