Job Description

STONE SAWYER / FABRICATION TEAM MEMBER
Hobart Stone Dealers, Inc., a family-owned stone fabrication company originally founded in 1960, is continuing its growth and rebuilding effort under new leadership and investment in equipment, processes, and quality systems. We are seeking a dependable, hard-working individual to join our fabrication team as a Stone Sawyer / Shop Team Member. Experience with stone fabrication, bridge saws, masonry, construction equipment, manufacturing, or heavy material handling is helpful — but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities may include:
Operating bridge saws and stone fabrication equipment Measuring and cutting natural stone materials Material handling using forklifts and shop equipment Assisting with fabrication, finishing, and production workflow Maintaining quality standards and shop safety
Qualifications:
Dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet Mechanical or equipment experience preferred Forklift or equipment experience a plus
