• Lead and manage a team to achieve and exceed goals for sales, profit, expenses, shrink, etc.
• Manage company priorities such as safety, security, housekeeping, and facility maintenance.
• Responsible for making sure the store is open and closed, including closing one night a week and working weekends.
• The Manager is expected to spend 80% of their work time on the sales floor actively supporting operations, team members, customers, and safety initiatives. The remaining 20% of work time is designated for administrative responsibilities conducted in the office.
• Build your team through the company direction for recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, task management, mentoring, coaching, and annual reviews.
• Schedules must be made and posted 2 weeks in advance.
• Review P & Ls to ensure goals are met.
• Operate within our existing processes and procedures including researching products in our inventory management system, POS, and scheduling to meet the business and budget demands.
• Ensure price changes, signage requirements, ad settings, and other in store pricing and marketing programs are executed.
• Model the right behavior on time and attendance, work ethics, and tasks in general.
• Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify the

• Be a team player and assist others within the company as needed with a positive attitude.
• Communicate in a professional and respectful manner to both internal and external partners.
• Follow the employee handbook guidelines.

Qualifications and educational requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and/or relative experience preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail management preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (email)
• Typing emails, letters and drafting pertinent business plans as necessary
• Review reports such as P & L's, sales/margin reports, merchandise reports, etc.
