Store Manager

Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and merchandising. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth. Manage employee orientation programs and conduct regular performance evaluations. Oversee payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and store budgeting to ensure financial accuracy. Maintain inventory management through stock ordering, purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory control procedures. Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost sales and store visibility. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store standards. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and manage cashiering responsibilities efficiently. Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff to meet customer demand while optimizing labor costs. Foster a positive team environment through leadership in training & development and effective communication skills. Experience Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong background in retail sales management, including merchandising, pricing, and inventory control. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and employee orientation. Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting training sessions. Familiarity with POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred; leadership qualities are essential for success. $65,000.97 - $70,000.00 per year
