Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members Help manage inventory levels through stock ordering, merchandising, and inventory control procedures Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Contribute to sales management by promoting products, upselling, and meeting sales targets Aid in training and developing team members on store policies, POS systems, cash handling, and customer engagement techniques Support shift management duties including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety standards Assist with merchandising strategies and promotional activities to enhance store appearance and sales performance Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or assistant manager experience is highly valued Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory management Proficiency with POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of restaurant operations is preferred.
