Store Manager — Pawn Shop Operations | Full-Time

About the Role Cash Point is a high-volume pawn and resale operation in Revere, MA seeking an experienced Pawn Shop Manager who is ready to lead from day one. This position requires demonstrated hands-on experience in the pawn industry. Candidates must arrive fully proficient in merchandise appraisal, pawn operations, and team management. No on-the-job training will be provided for core job functions. Responsibilities Independently appraise, evaluate, and purchase incoming merchandise across all categories including gold, diamonds, jewelry, electronics, and hand and power tools Manage all pawn loan transactions, buy/sell/trade operations, and collateral decisions with full authority Lead, schedule, and supervise store staff to maintain smooth daily operations and a productive team environment Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliation, and basic bookkeeping Manage and grow online sales through eBay and other resale platforms Monitor and maintain inventory levels, pricing, and stock accuracy Recruit, onboard, and evaluate staff performance Ensure full compliance with state and local pawn regulations, police reporting requirements, and ATF guidelines where applicable Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently Troubleshoot store IT, POS, and computer systems independently Travel to other company locations as needed for coverage and merchandise transfers Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager or assistant manager in a pawn shop Demonstrated ability to appraise gold, silver, diamonds, and fine jewelry using standard industry testing and grading methods without supervision Proven working knowledge of consumer electronics — ability to test, evaluate functionality, and assess current resale value independently Hands-on ability to evaluate hand and power tools, assess condition, and determine resale value Strong command of pawn loan processing, collateral transactions, and buy/sell/trade operations Experience with pawn shop management software such as PawnMaster, Bravo, or equivalent Proficiency in cash handling, pricing strategy, and profit margin management Experience in recruiting, supervising, and developing staff Familiarity with state and local pawn compliance requirements, police reporting, and customer ID verification procedures Ability to operate and troubleshoot computers, POS systems, and software independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese preferred

Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
