Job Description

Overview A prominent, privately owned architecture and engineering firm with a workforce of hundreds and several offices throughout the Southeastern United States is in search of a driven Project Manager to become part of its expanding team in the Greater Atlanta region. About the Role The perfect candidate will possess robust technical knowledge in site civil engineering, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to build strong client relationships. This position entails both technical design responsibilities and leadership in developing and mentoring a site civil team. Project types encompass commercial, institutional, municipal, educational, and residential developments of various sizes.

Key Responsibilities Lead and implement site civil engineering tasks on a variety of projects from inception to completion.

Design and supervise site layout, grading, stormwater/drainage systems, infrastructure, and erosion & sediment control.

Prepare stormwater management designs, reports, and conduct hydraulic/hydrologic analyses (including SWPPP documentation).Manage workflows for the site civil team.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant local and state regulations.

Participate in project meetings with clients, agencies, internal teams, and contractors.

Coordinate permitting and entitlement processes, ensuring all necessary submissions, as-builts, and final platting are completed through project closeout.

Conduct QA/QC reviews on civil engineering plans and reports.

Travel as necessary for project and client obligations, representing the firm effectively.

Strengthen the company's standards and core values within the team.

Engage in local professional organizations and community service initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or another engineering discipline with substantial experience in civil engineering).Over 10 years of experience in site civil engineering across diverse project types.

Possession of an active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Expertise in Civil 3D and stormwater modeling/design software.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Meticulous attention to detail with the capacity to make sound, informed design choices.
