Job Requirements Layton, UT Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Description Work with Supply Chain Analysts and planners to procure material in support of production requirements Compile and issue Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to suppliers Conduct in depth data analysis to identify cost saving and cost avoidance opportunities utilizing material procurement strategies Utilize knowledge of best purchasing practices as a government contractor Demonstrate rich knowledge of Supply Chain Management field and how it operates in a Manufacturing environment Execute supplier negotiations in a coordinated effort with Purchasing and the planners. Compile and manipulate data in order to make informed business decisions Other duties as assigned

Requirements Education/Training:

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred

Experience:

5+ years of experience in material procurement in a manufacturing environment Aerospace and Defense background preferred Knowledge of best purchasing practices as a government contractor In depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management field and how it operates in a Manufacturing environment

Security:

Must be a US citizen Ability and to obtain a clearance may be required

Physical Requirements:
